Towards a Greener Tomorrow: Our School Explores Sustainability with Al Daayen Municipality and IKEA As part of its commitment to raising environmental awareness and promoting the values of sustainability among students, our school organized an educational visit to the Sustainability Exhibition and Workshop in collaboration with Al Daayen Municipality and IKEA. The visit aimed to connect theoretical knowledge with practical experience and introduce students to sustainable environmental practices. The programme included a hands-on planting activity, where students had the opportunity to plant and learn practical techniques for growing and caring for plants. Students also attended an informative presentation highlighting Qatar's key sustainability projects and the country's ongoing efforts to protect the environment and promote sustainable development. This educational experience provided students with a valuable opportunity to develop new environmental knowledge and practical skills through active participation and hands-on learning. It also strengthened their sense of environmental responsibility and encouraged them to adopt positive practices that contribute to building a greener and more sustainable future.
